Thank you for this very thoughtful text and the provocative speculations that it could raise. I am really looking forward to seeing the prototype of the Critter Compiler and hearing the discussions that this artefact raise.

In general I had quite some problems in getting a thorough understanding of the very condensed text that you presented. I guess this was partially due to my limited understanding of the projects and theory that you refer to, but I think it would also have helped me if you would either elaborate more on the abstractions that you articulated or if the text would be focused on a more narrowed down argument that could be explained in a more accessible manner.

I am very intrigued by this sentence in particular: "What 21st-century critter chips demonstrate is that our entangled "becoming with" is taking place for an advanced capitalism that reduces bodies through affect to their informational substrate, where data accumulation and bioaccumulation are conflated."

It has a lot of elements that can be unpacked further I think. Specifically, what are we “becoming with”, how is this exemplified, what is our role and that of the critter chips in this? How could this advanced capitalism take shape, etc. I would love to read/hear a more concrete discussion on this topic.

I hope this feedback helps in any way and I apologise for the perhaps limited extend in which I could provide thorough/specific comments.
