hi David, thanks for this great piece. I think its simplicity makes it a very engaging experience. I am very interested to see it running in the exhibition, as it is somehow difficult to see/read what going on. I am not quite sure about the role of the atlantic and the red text about advertisement, whose importance you don't really cover in your description. However, I totally agree and think it is very interesting how you render the 'preconscious' conscious for human perception. Also your thoughts about deceit, corruption, intentionality, and non-human agency is very stimulating, and I hope you will elaborate on this in the workshop. Generally, what I think is most strong about your piece is its very relatable nature; any internet user knows about the experience of websites loading way too slowly. But the loading and re-loading of websites has also gained a new status with websites denying you access if you e.g. have adblocker installed, and I think the mundane user might have found a new agency in simply denying to load all of the page. I don't know if this makes sense, I am just trying to elaborate on the mundane interaction between web servers and users, and how/if mundane users' tactical use exploits commercial web browsers. Anyway, see you soon! - ml
